NTNC deems climate science as an integral component when it comes to safeguarding biodiversity and building climate resilient systems. It aims to strengthen climate science focusing on generating evidence to enhance existing knowledge of the impacts of climate change on natural and social systems. Through the establishment of permanent plots and weather stations, NTNC has initiated monitoring of climatic parameters and understanding species response to changing climate. Besides this, NTNC also works to integrate indigenous knowledge systems that help form local solutions for combatting climate change.
