President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Dr Badri KC visited the NTNC central office today where an introductory meeting was held. The NTNC central office team led by its member secretary Mr Sharad Chandra Adhikary welcomed Dr KC and his team.

The meeting was organized to discuss about potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions. 

At the meeting, a background of the two institutions was introduced by the NTNC member secretary along with areas of interest for future engagement. This followed a summary presentation introducing NTNC's working areas and priorities by Dr Naresh Subedi, NTNC programme manager.

Thanking the NTNC member secretary for the invitation, the NRNA president noted about the large untapped intellectual capital of the overseas Nepali community. He said he was excited to learn about NTNC's work and explore new horizons for collaboration that help future generations of overseas Nepalis build on Nepal's biodiversity conservation and green growth agenda. 

Interest for future partnership and collaboration through a memorandum of understanding was expressed from both sides.
