The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) programme conference began yesterday (on January 10, 2018) at the Annapurna Conservation Area Project head office in Pokhara. The three-day conference that will bring together all the Project Chiefs and Unit Conservation Officers across its seven working areas aims to discuss and engage programme-related development and performance, as well as exchange cross-context scenarios and actionable plans. Besides brainstorming on innovative ideas and strategies, and exploring critically its own strengths and weakness, the conference will clearly spell out current-level undertakings and expectations in line with its pre-determined targets. Attributes related to the NTNC Strategic Plan development, Monitoring-Evaluation and Communication protocols promises to be rigorously pursued to pave the way forward for enabling overall performance across all its focus areas.
Being undertaken through the initiation of the NTNC Central Office Management, two members of NTNC's Governing Board of Trustees Dr. Giri Raj Tripathi and Mr. Saral Sahayatri Paudel are also attending the closed-door conference.
