NTNC recognizes the complex and interconnected nature of climate change where it focuses on use of inter-disciplinary, cross-sectoral and multi-scale approach in addressing it. NTNC seeks to influence and improve climate governance based on climate sciences, adaptation and mitigation needs. Through climate dialogues, multi-stakeholder engagements, networks, trainings, awareness and publications, NTNC aims to mainstream climate change in policy and decision making process. Some of NTNC’s interventions for climate governance includes formation of local adaptation plan of action (LAPA), contributing to the national adaptation plan, climate change policy and development of biodiversity monitoring protocol for REDD+.
