Hon. Nawal Kishor Sah Sudi, Minister for Forests and Environment, visited the NTNC central office where a welcome and interaction event was held today early morning. Minister Sudi took office recently on March 10.
At the meeting were the NTNC Chairman Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, Board Members Prof. Dr. Ram Prasad Chaudhary, Dr. Shub Narayan Mahato, Member Secretary Mr. Sharad Chandra Adhikari, together with the NTNC senior management team and officers.
Following the welcome remarks by the member secretary, a briefing and overview about NTNC’s ongoing programmes, major achievements and plans were presented by Dr. Chiranjibi Prasad Pokharel, director at NTNC.
Minister Sudi shared his appreciation, and said he was in the process of familiarizing himself better about NTNC’s work, its strengths and where the ministry could do more to enhance its delivery.
Chairman Dr. Oli thanked the ministry and its leadership for its continued cooperation and support, and reiterated his commitment to advance conservation for prosperity.
