Hon. Rajendra Prasad Pandey, Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, visited the NTNC-BCC office in Sauraha, Chitwan earlier this week where he was welcomed by the NTNC member secretary Sharad Chandra Adhikari, together with the NTNC-BCC chief Dr. Baburam Lamichhane. Chief Minister Pandey, who was accompanied by other provincial ministers and the chief secretary of Bagmati, was briefed about NTNC’s ongoing work and efforts in promoting biodiversity conservation, community development, and national prosperity. The Hon. Chief Minister acknowledged NTNC's day-to-day role in wildlife management and science-led approaches, and noted the importance of making consolidated efforts for enhancing green development and sustainability values as a priority agenda of his province. To enhance the conservation potential of Bagmati province, the chief minister shared his willingness to strengthen mutual partnership and collaboration with NTNC in the coming days.
