On February 12, 2025, a problematic tiger was spotted in a goat farm in Thakurbaba Municipality 02, Ambasa, Bardia. The tiger attacked and killed a goat, prompting a report to Bardia National Park (BNP) authorities. Shortly after, a rescue team from NTNC-BCP and BNP arrived at the scene.

The following day, February 13, the subadult female tiger was successfully captured. A thorough clinical examination was conducted on-site, and the tiger was kept under observation for a few days, receiving proper treatment and veterinary care. 

On February 18, it was released in Banke National Park (BaNP).

However, on February 22, the same tiger had to be recaptured after it was found attacking and killing another goat. 

A rescue team from BNP, BaNP and NTNC-BCP was promptly deployed, and the tiger was captured the same day. 

On February 23, 2025, it was transferred to the enclosure of rescue center in BaNP for further care.
