NTNC and Laxmi Bank Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of strengthening partnership and promotion of nature conservation initiatives. Area of cooperation under the MoU will focus on: Increased collaboration for nature conservation activities, conservation education and public awareness raising initiatives, including cooperation for socially responsible programs focusing on financial literacy, livelihood enhancement, employment enhancement, vocational skills targeting families of wildlife victims, women leadership programs, among others. 

The MoU was signed today at NTNC's central office between the NTNC Executive Director Dr Siddhartha Bajra Bajracharya and Laxmi Bank CEO Mr Ajaya Bikram Shah under the presence of the NTNC Member Secretary Mr Sharad Chandra Adhikary. It will be operational up to the end of the Nepali fiscal year 2078-79 (July 2022).

Collaboration and cooperation under the MoU also entail continuation of Laxmi Bank's sponsorship for NTNC-Central Zoo's e-ticketing printing that is imprinted with a variety of conservation education messages, NTNC's support in the bank's financial literacy program drive, and Laxmi Bank's support and participation in NTNC's Adopt-an-Animal campaign.
