The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) is honored to welcome Hon’ble Madhav Prasad Chaulagain, Minister for Forests and Environment, today. During his visit, the Minister took a comprehensive look at the Trust’s ongoing projects and historical impact. He acknowledged NTNC’s commitment to nature and wildlife conservation in Nepal over the past several decades.
Our Member Secretary Dr. Naresh Subedi led an insightful briefing on NTNC’s frontline wildlife conservation efforts and the protection of natural heritage sites. Dr. Subedi highlighted our community-based conservation models which continue to bridge the gap between local livelihoods and nature conservation through community participation.
We are inspired by the Minister’s recognition of our efforts and his support for our future conservation goals. We thank the Ministry for their continued partnership in making Nepal a global leader in conservation.
