NTNC has officially inaugurated its new field office at Hutu, in Rara National Park, Mugu district. The new facility is situated within the national park headquarters premises.
Minister for Forests and Environment, Hon’ble Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, who is also the Chairperson of NTNC, inaugurated the office on 04 May 2025. He was accompanied by NTNC's Member-Secretary Dr. Naresh Subedi.
The new establishment will focus on strengthening conservation initiatives and partnerships in the Karnali province. NTNC’s Bardia Conservation Program will be coordinating the new office’s inception activities.
The initiative is a strategic step towards enhancing biodiversity conservation and promoting nature-based tourism by supporting local communities in Nepal’s most remote and ecologically rich landscapes.
