This is a statement of commitment from the top-level management of the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) communicating a policy of zero tolerance for any and/or all possible forms of institutional malpractice, including covering all its projects/programmes.

It is a commitment for zero tolerance as set out in the Financial Management and Control Manual, adhering to provisions for zero tolerance for financial mismanagement and fraud, including but not limited to its: Principle, Financial disclosure policy, Conflict of interest, Whistleblowing provisions, Process for reporting suspected fraud, Content of report, Investigation procedure and responsibility, Anti-money laundering policy, Anti-terrorist funding policy, Know your clients provisions, among accounting for other ethical and integrity standards.

Zero tolerance for other malpractices at NTNC will cover its policy for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Abuse, and Sexual Harassment (SEAH), Anti-Human Trafficking, Child Safeguard, including following Guidelines for Safeguarding Human Rights and Equality, and ensuring non-discriminatory practices.

A commitment for grievance handling and redressal inside the institution has been put in place and shall be fully followed to deal with any case and/or incident of malpractice. 

Our commitment is consistent with the financial, environmental, social and gender policies and frameworks of the Green Climate Fund and the Adaptation Fund of the United Nations Climate Change Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
